Between 2013 and 2018, the Journal of Belarusian Studies (changed from 'Byelorussian' after Belarus received the independence) was published in London by the Ostrogorski Centre in cooperation with the Anglo-Belarusian Society. Since 2018, the Journal is published by BRILL. Please refer to the publisher's web site for new issues and information about submissions.
The Journal is distributed annually to universities, libraries and private subscribers in the UK, the US, Belarus and other countries throughout the world. The Journal publishes articles on Belarusian civil society, literature, linguistics, foreign relations, history and art, as well as book reviews.
Many of the published articles are first presented at the Annual London Conference on Belarusian Studies.
The Journal is the oldest English language double-blind peer-reviewed periodical on Belarusian studies. It is the only academic periodical about Belarus indexed by EBSCO, ERIH PLUS, Google Scholar and other databases. The Journal has been accepted to SCOPUS since October 11, 2018.
